Step 1: Download the Tuya app and open it.

Step 2: Tap Add Device.

Step 3: Select Small Home Appliance.

Step 4: Choose Curtain (Wi-Fi).

Step 5: Find your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and confirm.

*Note: It only supports 2.4GHz connections.

Step 6: Press and hold the reset button on the curtain track for 5 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking.

Step 7: Use Open / Close / Pause to test the curtain and make sure it operates properly.

Check if the motor is powered on and confirm that the device is online in the Tuya app. You can also restart the motor or reconnect the Wi-Fi if the connection becomes unstable.

Yes. Once the motor is connected to the Tuya app and your Wi-Fi network, you can open or close your curtains from anywhere using your smartphone.

What should I do if the app cannot find the device?

Please check the following:Make sure the motor is powered onConfirm your phone is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-FiEnsure the motor indicator light is blinking in pairing modeMove your phone closer to the motor during setupIf the connection fails, try resetting the motor and adding the device again.

What type of Wi-Fi network is required?

The motor connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Most smart home devices do not support 5 GHz networks, so please ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz network during setup.

Which app should I use to control the motorized curtain track?

The Kaelen motorized curtain track works with the Tuya Smart app. Simply download the Tuya app from the App Store or Google Play and follow the pairing instructions in the video.
