Installation Tips

Screws are M4/M5 size — please use a slightly smaller drill bit for pilot holes.
Choose the right screw type:
- For hollow walls (metal, wood, drywall): use regular screws.
- For solid walls (concrete, brick): use expansion screws.

Custom Rod Width

Each rod is custom-cut to fit your window perfectly. We recommend extending the rod 2–15 inches beyond the window frame on each side for better light coverage, and keeping at least 1 inch away from the wall.

Please allow a width tolerance of 1–2 cm due to manual cutting.

Flexible Use

2 brackets if < 63"; 3 brackets if 63" ≤ width < 157"; 4 brackets if 157" ≤ width < 236"; 5 brackets if 236" ≤ width < 315"; 6 brackets if 315" ≤ width < 354".
Each bracket supports 22 lbs — choose the quantity based on your curtain weight.
Note: The middle bracket blocks ring movement. Use 2 panels for 3 brackets, 3 panels for 4 brackets, and 4 panels for 5 brackets.

Size Guide

For Standard Windows:
Measure your window width and add 2–15 inches on both sides to allow full curtain clearance and better light blocking, creating a more open and elegant look.

For Bay or Special Windows:
No problem — Collins Rods are compatible with bay windows and custom setups. If you need a special configuration, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Each rod is customized to your requested width. As such, returns are not accepted for sizing issues.

Freshine offers a 3-year warranty on all rods and rod accessories. Each rod is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 3 years from the date of order.

How to use adjust Pin Hooks?

Adjusting the pin hooks is straightforward. To lower the hook, simply pull it down to your desired position. If you need to raise it, pull the hook all the way down and out through the open bottom, then reinsert it at the desired height for a perfect fit.

How many rings should I buy for the pinch pleat hooks?

For example, if the **single panel width before pleats are made** is 106", and each pleat is created every 10 5/8" of fabric, there will be 10 pleats, requiring 11 rings. The calculation is 106 ÷ (10 5/8) + 1.

I'm ordering Pinch Pleat/Euro Pleat curtains. Do they come with hooks?

Yes, they include adjustable white hooks. You only need to buy rings or clips.

Do the curtains come with the rings?

No, our curtains are sold separately from the curtain rings. While the curtains themselves are designed to stand out, the rings are considered an accessory and must be purchased separately.

Do the brackets come with the curtain rods?

Yes, our curtain rods are supplied with the necessary supporting brackets. Depending on the length of the rod, it will come with either two or three brackets. Shorter rods include two brackets, while longer rods are equipped with three.
