Darian Double pairs decorative rod styling with a dual traverse system for layered window treatments. Designed for straight, corner, and bay window layouts, its flexible connectors accommodate angled configurations for a coordinated look.
Smooth Traverse for Effortless Operation
The integrated traverse system allows the front and back curtains to move separately along their respective rod sections. Open or close each layer to adjust light and privacy throughout the day.
Custom-Made for a Perfect Fit
Each Darian Double system is made to order for your selected window configuration. Its rod sections and connectors are configured to suit the layout of your space, creating a tailored installation.
How It Works

Select the correct width type based on your window style.

Standard Window:
Enter the total width of the curtain coverage. -
Corner Window:
Enter the widths of two sections, labeled X and Y, measured from left to right. -
Bay Window:
Enter the widths of three sections, labeled X, Y, and Z, measured from left to right. Also enter the A and B measurements shown in the bay window measuring guide.

Important Note on Rings vs. Runners
Curtain rings stop at center brackets. Runners can pass center brackets within the same rod section. At corner connectors, each rod section operates independently; runners do not pass from one section to another.

Installation Tips
- Screws are M4/M5 size — please use a slightly smaller drill bit for pilot holes.

Choose the right screw type:
- For hollow walls (metal, wood, drywall): use regular screws.
- For solid walls (concrete, brick): use expansion screws.
Color Options
Available in Black, Silver, Gold, White and Bronze.
All accessories — brackets, finials, and rings — will match the rod color.

Custom Rod Width
Each rod is custom-cut to fit your window perfectly. We recommend extending the rod 2–15 inches beyond the window frame on each side for better light coverage, and keeping at least 1 inch away from the wall.
Please allow a width tolerance of 1–2 cm due to manual cutting.
Flexible Use
- 2 brackets if < 63"; 3 brackets if 63" ≤ width < 157"; 4 brackets if 157" ≤ width < 236"; 5 brackets if 236" ≤ width < 315"; 6 brackets if 315" ≤ width < 354".
- Each bracket supports 22 lbs — choose the quantity based on your curtain weight.
- Note: The middle bracket blocks ring movement. Use 2 panels for 3 brackets, 3 panels for 4 brackets, and 4 panels for 5 brackets. If you’re using runners, there’s no need to worry. For corner and bay layouts, each rod section operates independently, with runners staying within that section.

Size Guide
Standard Windows
- Step 1: Measure the width of your window.
- Step 2: Decide how far you want the rod to extend beyond the window on each side. Add 2"–15" per side for your desired curtain coverage.
- Step 3: Enter the total width, including both extensions.
Corner Windows
- Step 1: Measure each wall section from the inside corner to the desired outer end of the rod.
- Step 2: If you want extra coverage, add 2"–15" at the outer end of each section.
- Step 3: Enter the left section as X and the right section as Y.
Bay Windows
- Step 1: Measure the widths of the three sections from left to right: left wall (X), center wall (Y), and right wall (Z). Measure the full area you want the rod to cover. If you want extra coverage, include an extension of 2"–15" at each outer end.
- Step 2: At each inside corner, measure 24" along both adjoining walls from the corner and mark both points. Measure the straight-line distance between the two marks. Enter the distance at the left corner as A and the distance at the right corner as B.
- Step 3: Enter X, Y, Z, A, and B in their corresponding fields. The 24" measurements locate the marks; A and B are the distances between those marks.

Return Policy
Each rod is customized to your requested width. As such, returns are not accepted for sizing issues. If you’re unsure about the correct width, please reach out via Live Chat before placing your order — we’ll be happy to help.
3-Year Warranty
Freshine offers a 3-year warranty on all rods and rod accessories. Each rod is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 3 years from the date of order.
If the product fails within this 3-year period, we will replace it free of charge.
