I needed something that wouldn't sag under heavy blackout curtains. These rods are definitely sturdy and the brackets are well-made. My only gripe is that the mounting screws provided were a bit soft, so I ended up using my own heavy-duty ones from the garage. Once up, they are rock solid. Good value for the price, just be prepared with your own hardware if you're mounting into studs.
