How to understand the width of pleated curtains?

For pleated curtains, the Single Panel Width refers to the fabric width before the pleats are made. To create the pleats and folds, we use a default fabric fullness of 2×–2.5×:2× fullness for pinch pleat, tailor pleat, inverted pleat, and goblet styles.2.5× fullness for triple pleat and triple tailor pleat styles.The finished width—measured from the left end of the first pleat to the right end of the last pleat—will be narrower than the Single Panel Width once the pleats are sewn.For accurate ordering, we recommend using our measurement tool:https://freshinelife.com/pages/measurement-tool

How to measure the pleated curtains?

For pleated curtains, we will suggest the curtain width is 1x of the curtain rod/track, measuring the length from the eyelet ring where the curtain hooks are attached.

Should I consider how much fullness is for the pleated header style?

For pleats are permanently sewn to make, we normally make them in 200-250% fullness. For example, if rod or track length is 100 inches, you may order 2 panels each 50 inches width for pinch pleated, tailor pleated header style. You could also order more width if you prefer more fullness.

What is stacking width?

Curtain stack width is the amount of space your curtains take up when they're fully opened and gathered to one side of the window. This width can vary depending on the fabric and how the curtains are hung, but it's usually around 20-30% of the total width of the curtains.

Should I purchase hooks for the pleated style?

The order comes with plastic adjustable pin hooks (for pinch pleat&euro pleat) . Plastic adjustable pin hooks allow you to adjust curtain length within 2 inches. You still need to purchase rod rings separately.

Are there instructions for the number of pleats for pleated curtains?
